On 28 April, Uzbekistan delivered the first shipment of 12 ISUZU ambulances to Afghanistan.

The automobiles were delivered as part of the agreements reached during the official visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Uzbekistan in December 2017.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Uzsanoatexport together with the Uzbek-Afghan trade house Uz Af Trading Company supplied cars to Afghanistan for the needs of the Ministry of Health.

Samarkand Automobile Plant LLC produced these machines.

According to the agreement between the two countries, Uzbekistan will supply 121 cars to Afghanistan worth more than US$5.7 million in 2018.
