In Uzbekistan, pharmaceutical production increased by 20.7%
In January–July 2026, Uzbekistan produced basic pharmaceutical products and preparations worth 3.5 trillion soums.Compared with the same period last year, production volume increased by 20.7%. This was reported by the National Committee on Statistics.
The largest volume of pharmaceutical production was in Tashkent city — 2.1 trillion soums. Syrdarya Region took second place with 529 billion soums, and Tashkent Region came third, where products worth 286.4 billion soums were produced.
In Namangan Region, output amounted to 214.2 billion soums, in Samarkand Region — 143.1 billion, in Andijan Region — 83.6 billion, and in Fergana Region — 63.5 billion soums.
Surkhandarya Region produced pharmaceutical products worth 53.7 billion soums, Khorezm Region — 20.6 billion, Kashkadarya Region — 17.4 billion, and Bukhara Region — 9.4 billion soums.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, production volume amounted to 3.5 billion soums. Navoi Region accounted for 0.2 billion soums, and Jizzakh Region — 0.1 billion soums.
