UNICEF handed over 17 refrigerators and 206 Minivan-Labo vehicles to Uzbekistan for transporting vaccines. However, on the same day, a road accident occurred in Tashkent with those vehicles.

The accident occurred in the Mirabad district at about 11.30 at the intersection of Amir Temur and Nukus streets on February 23. The driver of one of the trucks braked abruptly and six trucks that were following them were also had no choice but to brake urgently. Two trucks were damaged, no one was injured. According to officials, no vaccine was available inside the trucks.
