Branch of South Korean medical university to open in Tashkent
South Korea’s Gachon University will open its branch in Uzbekistan.
The delegation, headed by the vice-president of the Gil hospital, Mr. Muung Hee Chung, visited Uzbekistan. It should be recalled that Gachon University is part of the structure of the Gil hospital.
The visit was organized to discuss in detail the issue of establishing a branch of a medical university in South Korea in Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the visit, a mutual cooperation agreement was signed between Gachon University and the medical center AKFA Medline.
Within the framework of the contract, Gacon University should provide the new educational institution with all necessary textbooks and programs and send a consultant from the Gil Hospital to open a medical school, and also provide support in attracting professors.
AKFA Medline will cooperate with Gachon University in the areas of medical technology, research, investment and education. It is envisaged to stimulate and strengthen scientific cooperation between the parties through the exchange of professors, researchers, as well as students and other employees.
In addition, AKFA Medline and Gachon University will work on joint projects.
