Medical information system Dmed will be launched in Tashkent at the end of this year

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz News Agency. The Dmed medical system will be fully launched in Tashkent by the end of this year. In the future, it will be implemented throughout the country, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports.

This became known during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the new complex of the Republican Oncology Center.

The new complex consists of 9 buildings, the main buildings have 8 floors. They take into account the necessary conditions for doctors and patients. On the first floor there is a clinic and diagnostic equipment, on the second floor - a laboratory, a hospital, intensive care and surgical departments, on the upper floors - wards. In the underground part there is a department of radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, utility rooms.

The President gave instructions on digitalization of the center's work and improving convenience for patients.

"The most important task is digitalization. Let people not wander and stand in lines. This center should be connected not only with Tashkent, but also with 15 regional hospitals so that patients know in advance the time of their arrival and the doctor who will be seeing them. To do this, it is necessary to expand the use of artificial intelligence and reduce the human factor," the head of state said.

The center with its regional branches will be connected to a single electronic platform, and a cancer registry system will be launched in the republic. As a result, all data on cancer patients under observation will be available to staff in full.

Information about the unified medical system Dmed was also presented here. It was noted that it will be fully launched in Tashkent by the end of this year. In the future, it will be implemented throughout the country.

Dmed is a unified medical system developed for the digitalization of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It offers a comprehensive solution for optimizing and improving the quality of medical care for both patients and health workers.
